free range eggs

Q: What are the benefits of free range eggs?

A: It has been long argued that free range eggs are better compare dot conventional eggs from caged hens. Free range eggs are thought to be healthier. According to National Geographic, a study conducted in 2007 revealed that “the free-range eggs, on average, contained one-third less cholesterol and one-quarter less saturated fat, in addition to higher levels of vitamin A, beta-carotene, vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids”. And, of course, free range allows hens to move freely meaning better animal welfare!
