Classic cranberry sauce

This tart sauce cuts through the sugar of the sweet potato casserole.

Serves 6-8

350g (12 oz) cranberries
70g (2/3 cup) granulated sugar
1 tsp grated orange zest, plus a squeeze of juice
250ml (1 cup) water

Method

Add all the ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook until cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes.
